Make a « caramel » with the sugar in a mold you can put in the oven (Faire un caramel avec le sucre dans un moule allant au four).

When the « caramel » is light brown, add a few small pieces of butter and display the apples in the mold (Quand le caramel est blond,
ajouter quelques morceaux de beurre et disposer les pommes sur la tranche dans le moule).
