1 litre water
12oz white sugar
40 whole cloves
2 teaspoon powdered ginger
2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
2 teaspoon powdered nutmeg
Half teaspoon salt
2 bay leaves.

Directions:
Directions:

Boil, simmer for 5 minutes, and strain
Add 1 fluid oz lemon juice
3 fluid oz orange juice
2 litres Red Burgundy


Bring almost to boiling point, and keep hot.

Makes 28x 4oz glasses.
