3/4 cup shortening
4 TBS molasses
1 egg
1 cup sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
3 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground ginger
½ tsp. Cloves
1 tsp. Salt
Extra sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Combine wet ingredients with the dry.
Using a small ice cream scooper, roll batter into balls and then roll them in sugar.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
