2 # ground beef or ground round
2 eggs
1 onion diced
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 c oatmeal
1/4 c milk
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cans or dry packets Mushroom gravy

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion til translucent.
In small bowl, combine oatmeal, milk and Worcestershire until oatmeal absorbs liquids.
In a large bowl, mix beef, eggs, onion, S&P, and oatmeal mixture together.

Divide into 8 portions. Form each portion into a football shape.
Saute all 8 salisbury steaks in large skillet flipping on all sides to brown them evenly, usually about 20 -30 minutes.

Drain off most of the grease

Add can of mushroom gravy (if using a packet, prepare according to packet directions) and cook till heated through.

Serve with mashed potatoes
