1 1/2 Cup Sugar
4 1/2 Cup Flour
1 Cup Margarine (room temperature)
4 tsp baking powder
6 eggs
2 TBS Anise seed

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine together. Add eggs, anise and baking powder. Gradually add flour.

Heat pizzelle iron. Grease with shortening or spray. Use 2 spoons to make small balls to put in the center of iron and close.

Count to 16-18 seconds then open the iron. Have a rack to cool them on.
