8 slices bacon 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup flour 1 quart milk Pepper 1(4-ozs.)jar dried beef 1/2 cup mushroom ,sauteed. Sauce:1/4 cup butter 16 eggs 1 cup evaporated milk 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Fry bacon until crisp,drain and discard fat.Melt butter in large skillet, add flour, pepper and milk.Cook until smooth; add diced beef,mushrooms and crumbled bacon. Set aside.Blend eggs with milk and salt. scramble eggs in butter until soft.Layer eggs with sauce in layer casserole dish beginning and ending with sauce.Bake 1 hour,covered, at 275*F.Add 15 minutes if casserole has been in refrigerator. May be frozen
