Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When I was provisioning Jireh for our one year cruise, space was the limiting factor. I like Uncle Ben’s style rice sometimes, but wanted to keep things simple. I’m not sure where I picked up the original, but based on my scribbled up recipe, I made a lot of adjustments. Anyway, it isn’t Uncle Ben’s but it’s good. We provisioned enough vacuum packs of white, brown, and wild rice to feed a third world country (and would have if needed); along with lots of bottled herbs and spices.
