Ingredients:  
- 2 Ground Bison or you could use 2.5 lbs of boneless beef check or rump roast
cute into bite sized pieces
- 5 slices bacon, chopped

- 1 medium red onion, chopped (original recipe called for a white onion but I like
red onions better)
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2-3 carrots peeled and chopped

- 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes

- 1 cup of beef broth (or don't add if you want it thick)

- 2 tsp. sea salt
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (use less if you are sensitive to heat, use more if you love heat!)

* You can add beans but beans are not on the Paleo List.

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
- Avacado

Place all chili ingredients in a slow cooker and stir until well combined. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. Stir well and serve
