2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl, combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add milk all at once and stir with fork to make it into a soft and sticky dough. Turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead gently for about 10 min. Roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 15 biscuits.
