6 quarts sliced cucumbers
1 quart thinly sliced onions
4 trays ice cubes
1 tsp. celery seed
3 lbs. granulated sugar
5 cups vinegar
1 cup salt
2 quarts cold water
1 tbsp. tumeric
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 cup water
10 pint jars

Directions:
Directions:
Soak cucumbers and onions in salt, 2 quarts water and ice cubes for 3 hours. Drain well. Thoroughly mix the turmeric, celery seed, mustard seed, sugar, 1 cup water and vinegar. Heat to boiling. Add drained vegetables and bring to full rolling boil. Fill hot sterilized jars and seal immediately.
