½ cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg beaten
½ cup chopped green onion
2 cups oysters, cut in quarters
2 tbsp. corn starch
salt & pepper
1/3 cup cold water
1 tsp. Worcestershire


Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and add dry ingredients. Make well and add egg and water slowly. Whisk wet ingredients into flour mixture. Stir in oysters, green onion and Worcestershire sauce. Heat ½” oil in skillet on medium high until cube of bread turns brown in 15 seconds. Drop fritter into oil by the level tablespoon and cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Make up to 4 hours ahead and reheat in 350° oven for 5 min.
