1 cup onions
2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 eggs
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup celery - including leaves
3 slices white bread soaked in
2/3 cup boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1-28 oz. tin canned tomatoes

Gently saute the onions and celery in 3 tbsp. cooking oil. Do not brown them. Set aside. Make the meat balls by combining the ground beef, eggs, bread, garlic, salt and pepper. Form into 1-1/2 " meat balls. Brown meat balls in pan with onions and celery, push onions and celery to side. Add canned tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce to the browned meat balls, onion and celery. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer about one hour.
