3 tbsp. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 28 oz. can Italian plum tomatoes
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley or basil
1 lb. penne
2 tbsp.butter
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil. Add garlic and pepper flakes. Do not brown. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook for 15 minutes. Stir in half of parsley or basil. Cook penne. Drain well. Pour sauce over and add butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and rest of parsley or basil. Toss well and serve. Add sausage for a twist.
