Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 lb ground pork
4-5 slices of day old bread crumbled
1 egg
4-5 tbsp. grated Romano cheese
2-3 tbsp. chopped flat leaf parsley
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup olive oil
1 small onin finely chopped
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
salt to taste
1 heaping tsp. sugar

1 lb. Italian sausage
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl place the meat, bread, egg, cheese, parsley, salt, and milk. Mix together well
until all are blended.

Taking a small amount, roll into a ball ( you can determine the size you want ).
In a frying pan add the oil and fry the meat balls on all sides until browned and set aside. Next fry the sausage until nicely browned, set aside.

To the oil, in which the meat was fried, add the onion and garlic and saute until soft (do not brown)
Add the paste and stir into the mixture continuing to cook for a few minutes , add one paste can of water and cook until all is blended.

In a large saucepan, add the can of tomatoes, the paste mixture, and the sugar stir together, add the sausage and cook for 1 hour then add the meatballs and continue to cook for about 1 hour more. When the oil rises to the top it usually means the sauce is done.

If you feel the need for more sauce you can add another can of tomatoes with sugar to the existing recipe there is no need to increase the other ingredients.
