2 10-oz. pkg. frozen or 2 15-oz. cans artichoke hearts
10 whole chicken breasts, boned and split
1/4 c. butter
1 61/2 oz. can crab meat, drained
1/4 c. sherry
1/2 c. small white mushrooms
1/4 c. onions,chopped
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/3 c. heavy cream
1 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped parsley
Dash cayenne
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

Arrange drained artichoke hearts, halved if desired, on bottom of 12X8" baking dish.
In skillet cook chicken in 1/4 c. butter, 15 min.
Add chunks of crab, cook 5 min.
Add sherry and cook to evaporate.
Season with salt and pepper, remove chicken and crab and keep warm.
Add 3 tbsp. butter to drippings in pan and saute onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle with flour and stir until smooth.
Gradually add cream and milk, stirring constantly.
Add parsley and cayenne, remove from heat.
Blend in cheese.
Cover artichokes with 1/2 sauce, arrange chicken and crab over artichokes, pour remaining sauce over the top and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 375º for 20 min. until bubbly around edges.
Serve with white or wild rice.
