The chicken livers should be rinsed under cold water, drained, with any white strands removed. Pat dry.
Follow directions below.

Directions:
Directions:
Saute 1 lb. of chicken livers & 1/4 lb. of sliced mushrooms in 4 tbsps. butter over low flame,
together with 1 tbsp. each, finely chopped green pepper, parsley & scallions.
Cook about 4 min. stirring. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp. flour & when slightly brown, add gradually 1/2 c. each of dry white wine and chicken broth, stirring until thickened.
Add 1 small bay leaf & a pinch of thyme.
Cover & simmer gently 10-15 min.
