2 lbs salted cod 1 tbsp Newfoundland savoury
3 large onions 5 large potatoes, sliced
3/4 cups olive oil or butter 1 tsp paprika
11/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 3 tbsp tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak salted cod overnight. Drain water. Cook cod in boiling water for 10 minutes, drain and cool. Set aside. Place layer of potatoes, about half, in greased baking dish (8 x 11 "), place all the cod and onions. Top with remaining potatoes. Mix together the olive oil, garlic, savoury, pepper flakes, paprika and tomato sauce. Pour evenly over casserole. Bake at 375 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

Be careful with the pepper flakes as you may not want your dish quite as spicy.
