1 lb. crab meat- claw is fine,
1 beaten egg,
3 T mayo,1/4 t. Old Bay Seasoning
1/4 c. bread crumbs,
1/2 green pepper, diced very fine,
1 small onion, diced very fine,
dash of Worcestershire sauce,
black pepper to taste- no salt needed.

Pick thru the crab meat for shells and remove any.
Mix all the ingredients except the mayo.
Use a loaf pan or square casserole dish that has been buttered.Mix everything in a bowl. Put the mixture into the pan . Spread mayo on top. Bake at 350 about 30-40 minutes or until the top looks firm.
Set to rest 10 minutes, then serve.

You can make crab balls or crab cakes with this mixture. If you do, form the balls or patties and refrigerate before you fry them so they will hold their shape, then pan fry in oil or butter.Serve with tartar sauce.In MD., they serve crab cakes with mustard on a bun.
