1 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup plain yogourt
3/4 cup milk
1 egg (slightly beaten with a fork)
1/2 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
1 cup partridgeberries (or blueberries)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oats, yogourt and milk in a med sized bowl and let soak for 20-30 minutes. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add egg and melted butter to oat mixture. Gradually add liquid mixture to flour mixture, blending gently with a fork (should not be smooth). - may need to add a little extra milk or flour to get the right consistency. Add berries. Spoon into greased muffin pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from oven and leave on rack for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
Makes 12 muffins.
