Ingredients: FILLING 2 Cups Grated Romano Locatelli Cheese 4 Cus Grated Fresh Unsalted Cheese (Basket Cheese) 6 Eggs Black Pepper - Lots
CRUST 2 Eggs 3 TBSP Oil 1 TBSP Sugar 1 tsp Baking Powder 2 Cups Flour

Directions:Set oven at 350º. CRUST: Mix 2 eggs, oil,& baking powder,together and add 1/2 of the flour.Mix together. Add the sugar and continue mixing. Add the rest of the flour and continue mixing until it is all mixed in. Knead dough until smooth and not sticky. Roll the dough with a rolling pin until it fits a 9" or 10" round pan.* Plus a little extra dough for strips.* Grease the pan. Put the dough in the pan and trim the edges.
FILLING In a bowl put 6 eggs and beat them. Add a dash of Black Pepper. Pour the beaten eggs into the combined cheese mixture and mix together (by hand or spoon). Keep adding Black Pepper to taste. Put filling into the pie crust. Garnish with strips of dough cut from the trimmings of the crust. Bake for about 1 Hour.* *Should be dry. |
