Fresh coarse bread crumbs
3 tbsp capers
4 cloves garlic minced, 5 cloves sliced
fresh parsley minced
1 tbsp salt
anchovies
olive oil
Calamari tubes and tentacles

Sauce
2 cans crushed tomatoes
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup red wine
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and wash calamari, set tubes aside
Cut up tentacles and mix with bread crumbs, capers,salt, parsley and minced garlic. Dampen with a little olive oil and tomato sauce.
Stuff tubes with mixture and an anchovy. Close top with a toothpick. Brown sliced garlic in olive oil, brown stuffed calamari tubes. Add crushed tomatoes, salt, bay leaves and wine. Cook about 30 min. Sauce is good over pasta.
