1 kg pumpkin
4 kg flour
1 egg
salt
nutmeg
butter
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Break the pumpkin and steam in the microwave. Remove the skin and mix the pumpkin with all the other ingredients. Take a pot of boiling water and add salt. Boil the dough by spoonfuls. The dumplings are cooked when they float. Put dumplings in a buttered oven dish. When you want to eat, put the dish of dumplings in the oven and wait to see the butter sizzling. Melt some butter and pour it on the dumplings to serve along with Parmesan cheese

I must admit I have not made this yet but found this in my recipe box from my Singapore days. My Italian boss Roberto and his wife invited me to dinner and made these dumplings for dinner. It was an amazing home cooked meal.
