1/2 dozen crabs - cleaned and cut in half
1 lb spaghetti cooked and drained
2 large cans crushed tomatoes
1 can water
4 tbsp olive oil
salt
pepper
parsley
4 cloves minced garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Brown garlic in oil.
Add crabs and brown
Remove crabs
Add tomatoes, water, salt, pepper and parsley
Cook 1 1/2 hours
Return crabs to pot cook 1/2 hour more
Remove crabs to serving platter
serve gravy over spaghetti

One of my fondest childhood memories is going crabbing with Dad and Grandpop then returning to the house in Avalon to clean and cook our catch. From sea to table in hours!! Mom wouldn't leave the table until every crab was finished and she had the smallest pile of shells I have ever seen. I still don't know how she did it.
