1 lb chipped steak
1 small can Hunt's tomato sauce
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp granulated garlic
3-4 tbsp olive oli
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown garlic in oil
Add tomatoe sauce, salt, pepper and oregano and stir
Cut meat into desired size pieces and add to sauce
Add small amount of water if needed so liquid just covers meat
Cook on medium, half covered for 30-45 minutes

Mom always served this with Italian rolls to make sandwiches. Quick, easy and delicious.

I think the half covered on all of Mom's recipes was to keep the sauce from cooking down too much as she started preparing dinner at noon so she would be all done her "work" when we got home from school AND most likely to keep the stove clean!!
