5 lbs spareribs

Barbecued Sparerib Sauce (see recipe in Sauces section)

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange two 2 1/2 pound spareribs as flat as possible on a cold broiler pan and place in the broiler so that the uppermost tip of the ribs is 3" from the heat. Broil slowly until crisp on each side (approximately 15 minutes per side). For the last 3 minutes, while broiling on the second side, spread Barbecue Sauce generously on spareribs, reserving remainder of the sauce to serve at the table.
