Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 c flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 T shortening
2 c chopped dates
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 T water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add sugar, shortening, & dates. Then add dry ingredients & flour - mix well. Bake in well greased pan. Bake for 35 min @ 350 degrees. Coo, cut into strips, roll in powdered sugar.

If dates are not fresh you may have to add a little more water.
