6 slices bread
butter or margarine
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 ½ c. shredded cheese
6 eggs
2 c. half and half
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crust for bread, spread bread with butter. Place in greased 13x9x2 baking dish and set aside. Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble. Drain well. Spoon over bread slices, sprinkle with cheese. Combine eggs, half & half, and salt, mix well and pour over cheese. Cover casserole and chill overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake casserole uncovered at 350º for 45 minutes or until set.
