1 c. chopped celery
3 cloves pressed garlic
1 ½ c. chopped onions
⅓ c. chopped green pepper
½ c. butter
½ c. chopped green onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 c. cooked shrimp
3 slices bread moistened
2 c. cooked rice
1 ½ c. water
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
2 tbsp. butter
⅓ c. bread crumbs
Paprika

Directions:
In a large pot saute celery, garlic, onions and green pepper in butter until tender. Add green onions, soup, and shrimp. Cook over low heat until hot. Add bread, rice, and water. Simmer for 15 minutes. Season to taste; turn mixture into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with bread crumbs and paprika. Bake at 375 º for 30 minutes in a covered dish.
