  • Scouting Cookbook Covers Added to FamilyCookbookProject.com

    A great scouting fundraising idea is to create a Scouting Fundraiser Cookbook. While the Girl Scouts have their cookies to sell, most troops rely on other means to raise the funds for trip trips, Eagle projects, summer camp and upgrading camping gear.

    The Family Cookbook Project knows how important a fun and easy fundraising project is for a troop to raise the funds to support the outstanding job at helping to develop our countries next generation of leaders. That’s why we help been helping troops raise money with Scouting Fundraising Cookbooks for years. Not only can it be profitable, but it is a fun project the scouting families can enjoy as well.

  • Family Cookbook Project Launches New Cookbook Cover Selection Tool

    Cover ToolFor more than a decade, Family Cookbook Project has helped families, churches, schools, community groups and individuals create personalized cookbooks to share with family and friends and to raise money for good causes. That process just got even easier!

    Family Cookbook Project is pleased to announce its new Cookbook Cover Selection Tool. Part of the cookbook design section, this new tool displays images of each professionally designed cookbook cover that users can select with a single click.

    The covers are divided into categories, including: Family, Farm, Food, Fundraising, General, Holiday, Kitchen, Religious, School, Wedding. There is also an option to see all of the covers at the same time. New categories and covers are already in the works and will be announced shortly.

    Users also have the option to create their own custom cookbook cover and upload that to the Family Cookbook Project Website.

    To view the Cookbook Cover Selection Tool, log in to your editor’s account and select “book options and design”. Here you will see the cover categories displayed with a “+” next to it. Click on the category label to expand the section and see the covers associated with that category. It’s that simple.

    In addition to cookbook covers, divider options and recipe layout options have been upgraded to use the same technology to display options in a convenient, easy to use arrangement.

    With Back-to-School right around the corner, parents are throwing around school fundraising ideas in order to help schools with the funding they need to help students be successful.

    To help support school fundraising efforts, Family Cookbook Project is please to announce two new school-themed cookbook covers that can be used for school cookbooks.

    Back to School Bus is a simple cookbook cover that is personalized with your school cookbook’s name and a subtitle if you choose. It shows younger students getting on a bus and going off to school.

    The second new cover is called School Notebook. It displays many common school supplies centered around a notebook. The title and subtitle of your school cookbook is printed onto the notebook image.

     

     

    These covers join the other 39 professionally designed cookbook covers you can choose from when creating your school fundraising cookbook, including several other educational-themed covers. Of course you can always create a custom cover with photos and images of your specific school if you wish.
