Ingredients:  
2 lb potato's
1 small onion
1/4 cup hot water or broth
1/2 cup minced roast beef
2 tb butter
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in a deep frying pan. peel and thickly slice the potato's and onion and place into the pan. Stir for a few minutes then add the water or stock, salt and pepper. Slowly bring to a boil. Simmer for one hour stiring frequently so potato's don'y stick to the pan. Add the roast beef and and cook witout the lid until the potato's are browned. You may also cool the potato's after adding the meat and shape into patties . Then you can fry them in oil until browned.
