1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 c milk
1 c chopped pecans
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown & white sugars, then mix with milk. Start to cook over low heat, stirring constantly, gradually raising temp until sugars dissolve and mixture boils and temp registers 224º. Add butter, salt & pecans. Raise temp to 234º and cook (mixture is ready when a tiny sample is dropped in cold water and forms a ball). Cool quickly to a lukewarm 110º. Add maple syrup and heat until thick. Remove from heat and spoon mixture on a flat buttered surface. Flatten into patties & allow to cool.
