Ingredients:  
2 c. sugar
1 c. white syrup
2 c. raw peanuts
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 1/2 c. of water to a boil. Then add the sugar and white syrup. Stir until dissolved. Continue to boil until it will spin a thread.

Add peanuts and cook slowly over a low fire until it turns golden brown. Take from fire and add the butter, baking soad, and vanilla. Stir quickly. Spread on 2 large & well buttered cookie sheets. Place in cold area.
