1/4 c coarse ground black pepper
1 c kitchen bouquet

Directions:
Directions:
Roll tri tip in kitchen bouquet. Mix all dry ingredients together and place in a shallow pan. Then roll-marinated tri tips in season mixture. Heat gas grill until white smoke appears and grill is hot. Place tri tips on grill and sear until black on all sides after all are seared place on a jelly roll pan and put in a preheated 350 degree oven. Cook for 15–20 minutes per side depending on how you want your meat cooked remember it will continue to cook some after you take it from the oven to rest before slicing. Note; these tri-tips freeze wonderfully. After you sear them let them cool then wrap in plastic wrap and put in freeze bag and freeze. When ready to use just thaw out and put in oven to finish cooking. You can do all the cooking on your BBQ if you like it that way better.
