½ cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
¾ t soda
¾ t vanilla
1-1/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan; add sugar and mix well. Add egg; beat till light colored. Sift flour with soda; stir into egg mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Chill. Roll in small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet @ 375º for 7-10 minutes. Remove at once. Makes 3 dozen.
