Sweet Potato Pecan Pie Recipe

1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 c. scalded milk
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 unbaked pie shell
1-1/2 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes

Beat all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 20 minutes in 350 oven. Then take out and sprinkle on the topping and bake 25-30 minutes more until pie is set.

Topping for Sweet Potato Pecan Pie
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix all together until crumbly. Spread on top of pie.
