Cookie Layer: 1-1/2 c flour; 3/4 c brown sugar; 1/2 c butter; 1/2 tsp salt -- Mix until crumbly. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle 1 can of mixed nuts over this layer.

Caramel Layer: 1 6 oz package butterscotch chips; 1/2 cup corn syrup; 2 T butter; 1 tsp water. Combine chips, syrup, butter and water and microwave until melted.

Spoon caramel layer over crust and nuts.
