1 lb ground beef or buffalo
1 chopped onion
1-2 garlic cloves, minced (or garlic powder)
2 cans beans (kidney and/or pinto)
1 can chopped tomatoes, undrained
2-3 cans water
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat onion and garlic in a sauce pan. Drain fat and add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about an hour.

Can also add a bit of tomato juice or V8 if you want to boost the vitamin content.
