2/3 cup shortening
2-2/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups cooked, mashed pumpkin
2/3 cup water
3-1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp soda
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
2/3 cup nuts, groun
2/3 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in pumpkin and water. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Fold in nuts and raisins. Spoon into 2 well-greazed and floured 9x5x3 loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 1 minutes - or until bread tests done.
