8oz cream cheese
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. nutes - chopped peanuts or brickle bits

Directions:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients except nuts until smooth. Fold in nuts or brickle. Hint: a coffee bean grinder does a great job making small peanut bits for this recipe. You can usually find brickle bits by the sundae supplies in the grocery store. Serve with Granny Smith apples and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

This is a recipe from my niece's elementary school cookbook. She is a senior in college now, so this tells you that we have been enjoying Apple Dip for many years. Be careful, once you start, it is hard to stop!
