2 cups sugar
6 eggs
1/2 lb butter (1 cup)
6-7 cups flour
6 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
Icing: 2 c. sugar
3 egg whites, beaten
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. light karo syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Beat Eggs & sugar until creamy. All melted butter, then dry ingredients. Roll out dough on floured table. Cut out, put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300-350 for 5 to 10 minutes. (watch closely-burn easy)
Icing: Mix water, sugar and karo. Bring to boil-time it 5 minutes. Beat egg whites, slowly pour half of syrup into egg whites. Keep egg whites stiff by beating as you pour. Then pour other half. Beat until stiff enough to spread.
Icing your cookies and enjoy!
