5 lb. chicken thighs

Marinade---
1 7oz. bottle of charsiu sauce
1 10oz. bottle of guava jelly or jam

Directions:
Directions:
Precook chicken by boiling in pot over medium high heat with equal parts of water, shoyu and vinegar, and with garlic, ginger and peppercorns to taste. When chicken is cooked through remove from fire, drain liquid and let cool. Combine the charsiu sauce with the guava jelly or jam and mix until blended well. Place chicken into container or ziploc bags for marinating, pour marinade over chicken and let soak in refrigerator. The longer the chicken is able to soak, the better the taste. When you are ready to cook and serve, you can either lay the chicken evenly in a pan and bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes then broiling for just a few minutes to allow the tops to get some color if needed, or you can put the chicken on a grill and grill over medium heat until warmed through and slightly burnt.-----Remember that the chicken is already cooked, so the idea behind the baking and grilling is to just lock in the flavor of the marinade.

I personally prefer grilling the chicken!!!
