2 can sweet potatoes or 4 large fresh
1 T. butter
1/4 t. cloves
1/4 t. cinnamon
little milk
1/2 cup sugar

#2 Pour on top
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 cup pecans - chopped
1 t. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar

#1 cream all of above and set aside

#2 Cook in heavy pant 1 stick butter & 1 cup sugar until carmalized and set off fire. Add 1/2 cup whipping cream and 1 t. vanilla. Pleace potatoes around outside of pan high an dlow in center. Pour caramel mixture in center and add pecans on top. Place under broiler to brown becans before serving.
