1 1/2 c. (12 oz. bottle) log cabin syrup
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
3 T. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 T. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring syrup to boil in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Gently boil
uncovered for 8 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes in unbaked pi
shell. Sprinkle nuts. Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and salt
gradually. Add beaten eggs, syrup and vanilla. Mix well. Pour in
pie shell. Bake at 375º for 40-45 minutes or until completely
puffed across top and browned. Cool and garnish with any kind
of cream.
