2 T. Butter
2 T. chopped onions
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp white pepper
dash ground nutmeg or mace
2/3 c. chicken broth
1/3 c. half and half
1/2 c. schredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Directions:
In medium sauce pan melt butter add onions, cook until transparent.
Stir in flour, salt, pepper, mase or nutmeg, over low heat until smooth.
Add chicken broth, half & half, cheese.

Pour over vegetables and serve
