1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water and shortening in saucepan and bring to a boil. Combine flour and salt. Add dry ingredients to boiling liquid, stirring constantly until mixture follows spoon around pan in compact ball. Remove from heat and let stand 1 minute. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Drop mixture by tablespoon on oiled cookie sheet, heaping batter to center of mound. Bake at 450º for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 25 minutes longer. Fill puffs with chocolate or vanilla pudding to which 2 squares of melted unsweetened chocolate have been added. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
