2 lb. chicken (thighs or breast)
1 onion, chopped
6 garlic clives, crushed
12 dates
1 c chicken broth
1 c cream
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp oil,
salt, pepper, curry powder

- Season chicken with salt and pepper
- turn in curry powder
- heat oil and sugar in pan until caramelized
- add seasoned chicken and fry until brown
- put in ovenproof casserole
- add onion, garlic and chicken brooth,
cover and bake for 50 min. at 350
- add dates and cream and continue baking for
another 10 min.
- serve with rice
