Salad:
1 pound spinach
1 4-ounce can sliced water chestnuts
2 chopped hard boiled eggs
3/4 cup bean sprouts
1/2 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

Dressing:
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 small chopped onion

Directions:

Mix salad ingredients, then toss with dressing just before serving.

I have also added a bit of the bacon grease to the salad dressing and warmed the dressing before serving (just slightly, if it's too warm the salad will wilt).
