3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup raisins
1 cup butter
1cup white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, combine the eggs, raisins and vanilla making sure the raisins are well covered with the eggs. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to soak for 1 hour.

Iin a large mmixing bowl, cream the butter with the sugars. Add salt, cinnamon, soda and flour. Mix thoroughly. Blend the egg and raisin mixture and the oatmeal into the dough. Add nuts and stir.

Drop cookies onto a greased cookie sheet by large spoonfuls. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and watch them disappear!
