2 C flour
3 T sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 C heavy cream, whipped
3 medium size apples
1/4 C sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 T butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Butter a 9 inch square cake pan. Mix dry ingredients. Blend in whipped cream lightly with a fork. Spread dough evenly in the buttered pan. Wash, pare, core, and quarter the apples. Cut each quarter into slices. Arrange slices on top of dough. Combine the 1/4 C sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Dribble the melted butter over the top. Bake 30 minutes or until the apples are tender. Serve with whipped cream.
