4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 package dry active yeast
oil for deep frying
2 cups warm water
confectioners sugar for dusting

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Slowly add the yeast and warm water making a soft, sticky dough. Stretch and cut off 3" pieces. Gently drop into hot oil and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels and dust with sugar. Serve hot.
